700, 700ХА, 771 industrial gas chromatographs (hereafter chromatographs) are designed for continuous measurements of components content in various gas mixtures and liquid hydrocarbons, including measurement of volume ratio of natural (associated) gas.

700, 700ХА, 771 industrial gas chromatographs (hereafter chromatographs) are designed for continuous measurements of components content in various gas mixtures and liquid hydrocarbons, including measurement of volume ratio of natural (associated) gas.

Chromatographs consist of three main structurally connected parts: controller block, sample conditioning (preparation) block, one or several analytical blocks and sampling system. In 700ХА chromatographs the analytical block and the control block are combined in a single casing. Additional, 700 and 700ХА chromatographs can be equipped with LSIV liquid sample injection valve.

Analytical block (upper casing) includes detectors, chromatographic columns, preliminary amplifier flow selector valves and solenoid valves. Chromatograph can be equipped with thermal conductivity detector (TCD), flame ionization detector (FID) installed in the analytical block, or with flame photometric detector (FPD) in a separate explosion-proof casing installed next to the chromatograph and connected with it by electric circuit and gas piping.

Sample conditioning (preparation) block includes pressure regulating valves and relay, sample flow meter, filters and pressure gauges.

Controller block (lower casing) includes electronics and ports for signal processing, device control, data storage and transmission.

Blocks casings made of aluminum alloy with magnesium content less than 6% are connected into a single structure that can be mounted on the wall, rack or floor. Sample conditioning (preparation) block is mounted at the inlet of analytical block on the lower part of block frame. Bloc are connection by wires running in metal junction pipes between blocks. Internal space of junction pipes with wires is filled compound material.

Side face of sample conditioning (preparation) block has fittings with flame arresters for connection of calibration and controlled gas pipes. Analytical block casing has marking plates with explosion safety and warning notice. Threaded port for cable inlet are located in the lower part of the controller block.

LSIV liquid sample injection valve goes through the chromatographs casing and fixed with a lock ring. Valve has two openings for sample injection and for output of sample gas into the flow. Inside the valve there is a pressure piston and evaporation chamber with an opening at the end for output of evaporated sample into thermostat system.

Explosion-proof of 700, 771 chromatographs is ensured by “explosion-proof enclosure” as per GOST P 51330.1-99 (MEK 60079-1-98) and manufactured in accordance with the requirements of GOST F 51330.0-99 (MEK 60079-0-98)
